It revolves around the story of rebellious teenager Anna (played by Lindsay Lohan) and her widowed psychiatrist mother, Tess Coleman (played by Jamie Lee Curtis). Anna lost his father three years ago and still has not recovered from his death. Their relationship takes a turning point when Tess talks about remarrying. Their relationship became quite tense as it was hard for Anna to overcome her father’s death.
